Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By booking a session, submitting a quote request, or engaging DocumentRemy for any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

These terms apply to all services provided by DocumentRemy, including document diagnosis sessions, drafting, review, coaching packages, and institutional packages.

2. Services

DocumentRemy provides document architecture, drafting, review, and consultancy services as described on our website. All services are performed by human consultants. We do not use AI generators for document drafting.

The scope of each engagement is agreed between the client and the consultant before work begins. For fixed-price sessions (diagnosis sessions and coaching packages), the scope is as described on our Quotes & Pricing page. For all other services, scope and pricing are agreed individually via a written quote.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Booking

Sessions may be booked via Calendly, the booking form on our website, or by contacting us on WhatsApp. Bookings are confirmed only after payment has been received or a payment arrangement has been agreed.

3.2 Payment

Payment is due before work begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment via PayPal (paypal.me/jeffaremydocremy) and bank transfer (IBAN: BE46967380023936). Invoices are available on request.

3.3 Refunds

Diagnosis sessions are non-refundable once the session has taken place. For other services, refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis. If we are unable to deliver the agreed service, a full refund will be issued. Partial refunds may be issued for partially completed work at our discretion.

4. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information about your case and requirements.
• Ensuring that any documents you share with us are your own or that you have the right to share them.
• Reviewing all deliverables before submission and confirming that they are accurate and complete.
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations in connection with your application or case.

DocumentRemy is not responsible for the outcome of any application, case, or filing. Our role is to structure and draft documents — the decision to accept or reject an application rests with the relevant institution or authority.

5. Intellectual Property

All documents drafted by DocumentRemy for a client become the property of the client upon full payment. DocumentRemy retains no rights to use, reproduce, or distribute client documents.

DocumentRemy retains ownership of its methodologies, templates, frameworks, and other proprietary materials. These may not be reproduced or distributed without our written consent.

6. Confidentiality

DocumentRemy treats all client information as strictly confidential. We operate under a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) by default for all client engagements. See our NDA template for the standard terms.

Clients are likewise expected to treat any proprietary methods, frameworks, or materials shared by DocumentRemy as confidential.

7. Limitation of Liability

DocumentRemy's liability to any client is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to the outcome of any application, case, or filing.

We make no warranty that any document we produce will result in a successful application outcome. Document quality and compliance with requirements are within our control; institutional decisions are not.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use DocumentRemy's services to:

• Create fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive documents.
• Misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or identity in any application.
• Engage in any activity that violates applicable law.

We reserve the right to terminate any engagement immediately and without refund if we discover that a client is using our services for prohibited purposes.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the relevant consultant is based. For engagements with Jeff, this is the laws of the European Union and applicable national law. For engagements with Anna, this is the laws of the European Union and applicable national law. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal legal process.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
